About Us

The global economy is only *8.6% circular

Our global economy wastes more than 90% of our materials. The Circular PNW community is looking to help catalyze connectivity and innovation in the PNW to help accelerate an equitable transition to a regenerative, restorative, circular economy.

*See Circularity Gap Report 2021.

Why we practice together

Regenerative & circular futures.

Our vision is a just transition from our current linear consumption economy to a regenerative, circular one. We use “futuring” to help pull us together towards shared visions.

Weaving collective data.

We believe in shared, co-created, participatory data. We steward a community database of circular initiatives in the Cascadia region.

Shared learning by doing.

We believe in collective learning. We foster communities of practice unified by shared circularity goals and shared bioregions.

Breaking down silos.

We believe that a just transition to a circular, regenerative economy requires cross-sector collaboration. We strive to bridge public, private, and communities (third sector).
